The engineers that constructed our government were well aware of the weaknesses of mankind.  The three branches of government - executive. legislative, judicial - were established to guarantee representation in a legal and inpartial manner.  If one branch of our government fails,  there is always another level to support the will of the people.

Goofing Off

Just reviewed a pic of our congressional leaders playing solitaire and checking Facebook while working - Oops! they didn't watch their back.

Goofing off while working is one of the perks of working. There is little joy in getting up and going in, if we can't goof off!

Besides these esteemed reps have a staff of people to keep them up to date on what is going on, they don't need to pay attention. Same as all the other executives running businesses. These media people need to take a course in Upper Management before they start judging others!

Pay Cuts

Okay, I am dense or something. Pay cuts for executives of the companies receiving stimulus dollars will jeopardize the operations of the company as top notch executives will be hard to find for the dollar received.

What part of stupid do you not understand!? - The companies were in trouble, they had top notch executives making mega millions AND they had to be bailed out! What is wrong with the thinking of these people? If the top notch executives had been as smart and effective as they were being paid to be, there would not have been bail outs or stimulus packages.

With the attitudes I witnessed on the news tonight, all the executives need to be replaced. The companies will not recover with the leaders they have now.
