Kindness repaid

Help is sometimes hard to come by and even more difficult to ask for in some situations.  When received, it may not be in the form expected or even wanted, but it is still help.  Accept with gratitude and repay with like kindness.  Do not bite the hand that feeds you and definitely do not burn bridges which you may need to recross.

Think before you vote!

There are so many issues facing the citizens of this great country.  How long will we be able to call the USA "this great country"?  The economy has not recovered, ethics is at an all time low, morals have decayed dramatically, and on and on.  Will there be no end to the struggle for power and control over this vastly populated continent - yes continent. 

This is the big election year.  There is mud slinging going on from the most insignificant positions up for re-election to the top position of "this great country" and the closer we get to November the worse it will get. 

In the last four years has government and its citizens progressed or suffered from the decisions made by our leaders.

Think before you vote!

Cuddle and Rock

I love being a Mother.  I cuddled and rocked both of my children when they were infants and read to them when they were older for hours on end and left the housework, ironing and cooking for later.  I called it making memories.

Now almost 40 years later as I sit at home alone, I can pull those memories out to relive the most beautiful time of my life.
